Meet Charity Floyd, the visionary force behind The Busy BeeCBA. Influenced by her mother’s work with special needs children, Charity’s early volunteering experiences ignited a passion for positive impact. Arts N’ Autism in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, shaped her career toward helping children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Charity holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology (2014) and a Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis (2016). As a BCBA, Charity has made a global impact, working in schools, clinics, and government agencies. She played a pivotal role in the 2018-2020 ABA pilot project in Australia, demonstrating her dedication to advancing ABA practices. Currently, Charity is the owner of Puzzling Patterns, LLC, an ABA clinic providing services to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder since 2021. Leveraging her extensive experience, Charity not only provides direct ABA services but also shares the science of behavior analysis and mentors others entering the field. A proud member of professional associations, including the Black Association of Behavior Analysts, Association for Behavior Analysis International, and the Association of Professional Behavior Analysis, Charity actively uplifts the ABA community. Through The Busy BeeCBA, Charity continues her mission by creating resources to alleviate the workload for BCBAs, ensuring a brighter future for individuals with developmental disabilities.
